Twitter can surely help in campaigns !
Interesting that something so important as equal rights is getting fought against so hard by the right-wing christian pack. It’s like the 50s and 60s all over again, only this time they are attacking gay people instead of black people.
I’m waiting for the day politicians start saying hashtag in front of keywords during interviews and speeches so that, when quoted, they have more control over how they’re message bleeds into twitter.
“My #budget proposal addresses concerns about the #deficit while preserving …”
Of course, until they’ll have to train reporters not to write “hashtag” when they want them to use “#” so the text in the article doesn’t say, “My hashtag budget …”
the Obama story is massive, it’s good to see him finally doing whats right, (even if it is a political move.
